Issue Media Group publishes local digital newspapers featuring original and repurposed news and information in local markets. Published content highlights and seeks to influence positive local economic development. IMG called us in to kick off the strategic website planning, brand identity, and website design of a new publication in the Detroit Metro area called metromode.
IMG already had a successful digital publication featuring content about Detroit Michigan's downtown areas called ModelD. This new site targeted a broader audience, and featured content associated with locations in a much wider radius from Detroit than ModelD does.
pblasio & people developed the new publication's brand identity, iconography, was instrumental in the development of strategic website planning, site architecture, and feature development. We fleshed out major functionality via website prototyping before implementation, defined the website's style guide for use by technology partners, designed site?s digital newsletter, and created site ad units on request.
